Ejada is one of Saudi Arabia’s largest information technology solutions providers. Headquartered in Riyadh, the company was formed in 2005 through a merger between three of the Kingdom’s leading local IT solutions and services specialists. SEDCO Holding currently has a 30% stake in the company.

Ejada targeted large enterprises within key verticals across Saudi Arabia and Egypt for its end-to-end IT solutions and services. It also focused on enhancing its offshore, system integration and managed-services capabilities.

Ejada witnessed high demand from government clients as digital transformation initiatives gathered pace in support of the National Transformation Plan 2020. The firm’s portfolio of large-scale government contracts increased by 133% in 2018. Transport-related large contracts increased by 200%, while telecomsrelated contracts grew by 67% from 2017.

Ejada’s Data Management and Business Intelligence services roster grew by 104% compared to a 2017 baseline, while Integration and Business Process Management services grew by 62%.

A major national-level project for the Saudi Ministry of Health was completed. Implementation was also completed on a major project for the Ministry of Finance (Tahseel).

Ejada established a strategic relationship with the analytics and business intelligence service provider Tableau to serve as its strategic partner in Saudi Arabia. The collaboration led the firm to new business wins based on Tableau technology. Ejada currently has the region’s highest number of skilled and certified Tableau consultants.

A strategic relationship was established with Deloitte for joint bidding on large-scale national-level projects, with work commencing on major bids. Ejada signed an MoU with STC to support STC’s local content program. Ejada is also involved in other content and training initiatives that support local SMEs and Saud Arabia’s IT industry.

Looking to the future

Ejada will be maintaining its technological edge and grow its portfolio of large-scale projects in service of Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Plan. In 2019, the firm will finalize a strategic partnership with Temenos to offer the brand’s core banking software to clients.
