During 2019, a unique employee wellness program was launched, focusing on mind, body and soul. Called Unbod, the new program raises awareness on important health issues by offering unique solutions to employees to focus on what matters to them most.
The SEDCO Group Stars program, which fast-tracks high-potential employees to leadership roles, saw its fourth wave of future leaders graduate. A group of further stars was enrolled in the fifth wave.
SEDCO’s employee value proposition is designed to create a positive work culture, transparency and recognition for teams. In 2019, team spirit and positivity were encouraged through initiatives such as Smile Day. The SEDCO Football Cup held another successful season, with the number of participating employees and operating companies increasing.
Employee-centric initiatives contributed to SEDCO being certificated in the ‘Great Place to Work’ program. Certificated workplaces are distinguished by high levels of trust, pride and strong fellowship relations. They prioritize employees and commit to providing a strong and innovative culture.
SEDCO’s recognition is the result of continuous efforts to raise standards in the working environment, while training and motivating employees. The achievement reflects the value of a range of activities and initiatives undertaken, as well as constant efforts to engage with employees, promote a positive and competitive atmosphere, and demonstrating that they are an integral part of the SEDCO family.
